Working remotely on an 8-month contract basis, the Senior Cinematic Facial Animator will create high-quality in-game cinematic facial animations using FACS based rigs, integrating facial capture data and collaborating with Animation Directors to enhance character performances. Key responsibilities Develop cinematic facial animation content utilizing motion capture data and hand-key techniques while meeting performance benchmarks Collaborate with Animation Directors and Lead Animators to design facial performances that align with the game's vision Troubleshoot technical issues related to facial animation integration and refine character performances for lifelike scenes Required qualifications Advanced knowledge of Maya and familiarity with Insomniac proprietary tools Experience with motion capture data and hand-key animation techniques Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Flow Knowledge of MotionBuilder and Adobe Premiere is a plus Ability to mentor junior artists and contribute to team feedback sessions
