QA Test Automation EngineerContract Length: 12+ months Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) *ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDEREDMust have previous experience testing healthcare applicationsWe are seeking a QA Test Automation Engineer with strong experience designing and executing automated testing solutions. This role will develop automated test scripts, prioritize test scenarios, create test execution plans, and support functional, application, and regression testing throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams in a fast-paced testing environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field8+ years of experience in QA automation, software testing, or a related fieldStrong experience designing automated tests and creating scripts to execute testing functionsExperience prioritizing test scenarios and developing test execution plansExperience creating test plans, test cases, and test environmentsExperience performing functional, application, and regression testingStrong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologiesAbility to interpret business and technical requirements and update test documentation accordinglyStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple responsibilities and work directly with stakeholders during testing cyclesSome experience with Katalon preferredFamiliarity with information architecture, information management methodologies, and enterprise software architectureKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and processesIdentify and prioritize test scenarios based on business and technical requirementsCreate test plans, test cases, execution plans, and supporting documentationPrepare and maintain test environments for application testingPerform functional, application, regression, and automated testingReview requirements and ensure test plans and documentation align with project objectivesExecute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and document defects and findingsCollaborate with developers, business analysts, project teams, and stakeholders to identify and resolve issuesSupport testing activities throughout the software development life cycleDevelop documentation and processes for automated testingProvide testing status, results, and reporting to project stakeholdersContinuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall qualityWork ExpectationsWork independently while collaborating effectively with project and technical teamsManage multiple priorities and meet testing deadlinesCommunicate testing progress, risks, issues, and recommendations clearlyDevelop a strong understanding of the business area and applications being testedWork directly with stakeholders as needed throughout testing cyclesGenius Road, LLC is proud to be a Certified Women's Business Enterprise, an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity.
